In this real-time video demonstration Ian shows how he creates a rough pencil sketch and adds a touch of storyboard digital marker coloring in Alias SketchBook Pro software on a Wacom Cintiq UX21. This kind of rough can be used as a loyout or scribble or in a storyboard to show the team and the client what direction you are going in, an animatic can also be created using these roughs before final art is produced.
