I started work on this quite a while ago – but now I am zipping along nicely and hope to complete it within a reasonable timeframe.
I don’t have a publisher yet, but I will deal with that when the time comes. For me it is equally important to finally finish this sucker, so I can move on to the next few graphic novels which are all ready to go as well.
As you can see I went a little nuts with the detail on this one, however this is something I like doing in any case – so I am having fun. I think the dark ‘Film Noir’ touch is coming together quite nicely.

An update and modification of the existing crest of the Zürich City Police SWAT Unit ‘Interventionseinheit Skorpion’. Created entirely in Adobe Illustrator CS3 and fully scalable to any size.

I also am planning on starting a whole new category of insane glitter graphics for people who under normal circumstances would be allergic to glitter….pieces that don’t make any sense whatsoever or can be posted as anti-glitter responses when glitter is received. Such as this one ‘Where the heck is all this glitter coming from????”

(Smoony is the official Mascot of the FIS Alpine Ski World Championship 2003 in Davos designed by Ian Marsden)
I recently found an unopened Smoony keychain in one of my chests of drawers. It made me smile. They really did quite a good job on these in the merchandising department – the likeness was very good. I think I will pin it up on the big pinboard in my studio…
