WEBSITE UPDATE MARSDEN ILLUSTRATOR AND CARTOONIST

I just completed an update to my Ian David Marsden Illustrator and Cartoonist homepage. http://www.marsdencartoons.com

The categories CARTOONS, ILLUSTRATION and LOGOS have been completely updated and now feature my Flickr Galleries. If you are viewing the site from a mobile device or Flash is not enabled you can click the link at the bottom to access the galleries directly.

I guess you already know about my personal BLOG since you are reading this post on it. ;)

Of course there is still the Flash Animation page that features samples of CORPORATE Flash projects, INTERACTIVE Flash, GAMES, BANNERS, E-CARDS and my YouTube Videos and Tutorials. Don’t forget to hover over the menus to get all the options and menus.

A quick and rough digital cartoon scribble in Photoshop for my Facebook Page.

Here is an image of the final result and also a YouTube video of the entire drawing process, uncut.

This sketch was made in under 30 Minutes but for the purpose of the video I sped the action up to around 9 Minutes.

Character Designs and Storyboard Illustrations for
“Super Reed”
Commercial and Website

 

Some examples of character designs and rough concept sketches and layouts for a TV commercial. Artwork is created based on the agencies’, client’s and art director’s briefing and the characters are developed in a process of multiple design phases.

This project was a lot of fun to work on as I could play with the character ‘Super Reed’ who is already outrageous and funny and I could also live out my personal fondness for 00 and Bond villains as well as creating some other ridiculous super heroes.

It’s great when your ‘job’ is what you love doing anyway. :D

Holiday Card Concept, Design and Illustrations

This was a fun project, a custom card design for the Sanafort Nutrition Company. The card is designed to contain a gift blister pack with natural Reishi extract.
Removing the blister pack reveals the bunny family and the decorated Christmas tree.
