Haunted Hollywood Tours
“Don’t miss the ultimate adventure in Hollywood!”
This was a really fun project, almost a dream project one could say, at least for me. I got to create a vector illustration version of a classic Cadillac, but I also got to create characters for Charles Manson, Frankenstein’s Bride, Michael Jackson as a zombie from the ‘Thriller’ video, Frankenstein’s monster and the Wolfman with a little Marilyn Monroe in the background! And all this for the classic “Haunted Hollywood Tours” which has become a fixture in Los Angeles. You depart from outside Grauman’s Chinese Theaters and visit all kinds of haunted and spooky places all over Hollywood.
I also designed the entire website and the logos as well. The main illustration was created as 100% vector artwork in Adobe Illustrator CS5 and I tried to stay true to the original while also giving them a classic comic book and clean line art look.
I am rather happy with the end result and I believe so was the client.

From the initial conceptual phase coming up with the ‘Fox’ character and evolving the Fox over several iterations, through scribbles and layouts to the final artwork as digital vector files in Adobe Illustrator CS5 I worked closely with the client to establish the a character with the right feel and then later create various poses, stories and comic strips featuring Mister Fox.
Usage in all media for print advertising materials, brochures and a calendar explaining energy efficiency in new houses.
