Christoph Blocher is a highly divisive Swiss political figure. He has frequently been compared by the media and his political opponents to figures such as Jean-Marie Le Pen and Jörg Haider. Blocher is the leader of the  SVP/UDC party’s nationalist wing, which dominates the party’s delegation to the National Council.

I thought it was a National Cartoonist Society meeting – but it turns out it was a ‘Nocturnal Creatures Symposium’.
