I have just updated the homepage and finally got around to adding some examples of my flash animations and GUI to the Flash page. It only took me around two years, give or take, but hey – better late than never, right.
In any event if you click on the FLASH tab on the main Marsdencartoons.com website it now takes you to a pull-down menu from where you can select from seven different categories: Corporate, Interactive, Animation, Games, Banners, E-Cards and YouTube/Tutorials. These are all pretty self-explanatory. Each menu selection will open the example in a new window.
I hope you enjoy some of the pieces and possibly think of me or recommend me to your friends if you or they should require high-quality professional Flash elements for their sites, multimedia, advertising, presentations, e-mail campaigns or are generally looking to create the new viral advertising madness of the future.

Ian David Marsden und Helmi Sigg sind die Sugar-Daddies.
Nach dem Motto: „Two Heads are better than one“ haben sich die beiden Kreativlinge zusammengetan, um ihre eigene Schaffenskraft und Visionen zu optimieren.
Helmi Sigg vorzustellen, wäre fast, wie Schnee in den Himalaya einfliegen zu lassen. Der Komiker (Trio Eden), Musicaldarsteller (Ewigi Liebi), Kunstmaler, Texter, TV- & Radiospot-Produzent sowie Promoter, arbeitet ebenfalls breitflächig an verschiedensten Fronten.
Cartoonist und „Flash-Wiz“ Marsden vorzustellen, wäre fast, wie Lemminge über die Klippe zu werfen. Als jüngster Cartoonist schaffte er mit 17 sein erstes Nebelspalter Cover. Marsdens Stil überzeugte sogar LaToya Jackson, deren Website er kreirte und Google für die er 1999 die ersten Google Doodles zeichnete. Heute ist Marsden ein international gefragter Künstler und an verschiedensten Fronten tätig.
Ihr erstes Konzept „Zipfelhart“ ist eine ironische Weihnachtsbotschaft der anderen Art und zeigt die zukünftigen Möglichkeiten ihres gemeinsamen Schaffens.
Back in 2003 / 2004 I made a series of comedy cartoon flash greeting cards for the website www.komedykards.com. They were commissioned, written and voiced by Hal Eisenberg. Hal Eisenberg is an award winning copywriter, voice over talent and producer. http://www.eisenbergagency.com
I did all the character design and animation and flash design work. They still look quite OK in my opinion, considering that I was working in Flash 4 or maybe 5 back then. Also I did all the drawing directly in Flash in those days, because importing was not very smooth from Macromedia FreeHand back then and it was nonexistent from Adobe Illustrator. (Not like today where you can import a layered Illustrator file directly into flash!)
Today I uploaded a bunch of them to YouTube.
The cartoon shorts feature Bill and Hillary Clinton, George Dubya, Jack Nicholson, Andy Rooney and Donald Trump, James Brown, Ross Perot and a mysterious Love Guru like Swami.
