Santa Claus and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer Cartoon. “Cheers Old Friend!”
Here is another video of me drawing a quick sketch and coloring it in Autodesk SketchBook Pro software. I am using a Wacom Cintiq digital tablet screen on this one.
A wonderful tool which I can wholeheartedly recommend to any professional illustrator, graphic designer or cartoonist.
I made occasional cuts to stay within the 10 minute length limit imposed by YouTube so the drawing jumps along miraculously a few times, but I hope the steps I took are still clear.
As always I am posting the finished drawing below. I hope you enjoy the video.

Sometimes a text just needs a few simple and clear spot illustrations to bring your point across. A sales pitch, a brochure, point of sale (POS), reports, book covers, a powerpoint presentation, a website, a user-guide or even a technical manual can be made easier to understand and more pleasant to review with a few well-placed illustrations. On the web these illustrations can be lightly animated in form of animated GIF images or Flash animation as well.
As this example shows sometimes just black and white line art or a touch of color are sufficient to make the page visually interesting and your message more powerful. Spot illustrations only take a few hours to complete and are thus not very expensive even when you commission custom-made artwork from a professional illustrator. Of course there is always the option of using pre-existing clip-art or stock illustrations, but in many cases for virtually the same price you can have proprietary artwork created tailor-made for your project. For projects which require a whole series of illustrations I am very happy to calculate a flat rate for the whole project.

The new issue of Schön! Magazine (Issue 2) has just come out and it features two nice double pages with my illustration work.
Apart from that I think the whole magazine looks fantastic, and there are many other amazing artists and photographers featured, so I am very honored to be in such amazing company.
Thank you to all at Schön! magazine for including my artwork in your second issue and all the best and good luck with the launch party and with the magazine!
